@Niceguy4704 In that case you are more qualified than I will ever be to work on this! I've released previous versions on github and I plan to continue to do so, once I get around to cleaning up some code in the current version. I'm not sure that I need an assistant of sorts, but I have always been fully open to allowing anyone who wants to contribute to be able to do so. I'll try to upload the latest build on github today or tomorrow if you want to check it out. I imagine you could provide some useful feedback!!
And another thing... make sure to replace the INI file with this version. I did a lot more fine tuning of some of the settings.
For anyone that tries the newer version, there appears to be a bug with the cloud- top where the particles will become extremely large the first time the tornado spawns. Usually despawning and then respawning the tornado fixes the issue.
@Niceguy4704 The despawning of tornadoes after a thunderstorm didn't make it into this version. Still planning to add it. Just need to think about the best way to handle regular tornadoes spawning via hotkey.
@88hiphop The main problem is the limit on particles which is set by the game. That is why its not always easy to find a "sweet spot" so to say, where the amount of particles (in the vertical column and around the circumference) is below the limit. Adjusting the maximum amount of particles with a gameconfig.xml could help.
@Flava0ne not sure about that one :|
@BBHD might be most useful to people working on mods that need to constantly minimize and reopen the game. But I guess it’s also nice to have the function there in some cases :) not sure why rockstar didn’t allow this to begin with.
@InfamousSabre I'll look into this :D
@KLL Are you using vanilla GTA V? What version of the game are you using?
@adinhoa If you want to set a "global" preset, you can do so by adjusting the settings while you are not sitting in a vehicle. You can also edit the preset file manually and specify '0' for the modelName.
