You know how you spend time putting together a great custom outfit, but the second you switch characters or load a save, the game puts them back in some random vanilla clothes This mod fixes that completely. Outfit Persistence lets you save an unlimited amount of custom outfits and forces the game to keep them on.
Features
Universal Character Support: Works fully with Michael, Franklin, Trevor, MP Freemode models (Male/Female), Add-on Peds, and absolutely any other character model you play as!
Infinite Wardrobe: Build the ultimate closet! Name and save an unlimited number of custom outfits directly to your local folder so you never lose your favorite looks.
Mission-Safe & Randomizer: Mark your favorite outfits as "Primary" to have the mod randomly pick one when you boot the game or when you switch characters. Even better, It actively locks your outfit during missions and cutscenes so the game can't ruin your immersion! (You can disable this in Settings.)
Dynamic Situational Outfits (Beta): Assign outfits to specific situations. Jump into the water and your "Swimming" outfit equips automatically. Get a wanted level and your "Combat" gear comes on. Also works for riding bikes and flying.
Living World Persistence: When you switch characters, the AI takes over but they keep wearing your custom outfit while walking around Los Santos instead of reverting to boring default clothes.
Keep Hair & Beard: (New!) Change your clothes without magically shaving your head! Your custom hairstyles, beards, and face paint stay perfectly intact when equipping outfits.
Packed with QoL Features: Instantly clean blood/dirt or heal up when changing, use the seamless "Live Preview" to see clothes as you scroll the menu, easily overwrite saves, and toggle quick accessories (hats/glasses/masks) on the fly.
Free-Roam Friendly: Designed to run smoothly in the background without breaking clothing stores, barbers, or your favorite trainer menus.
Changelog
v0.0.4 (Latest)- Added a Keep Hair & Face option: Equipping an outfit will no longer overwrite your current haircut or beard if enabled!
- Fixed a critical mission soft-lock where the game would bug out when missions tried to force you to wear a parachute bag.
v0.0.3- Migrated to LemonUI for a much more stable, modern, and bug-free menu experience.
- Added Live Preview: Scrolling through saved outfits will temporarily apply them to your character.
- Allow changing Primary Outfits during missions to update the Outfit Lock.
- Dynamic Quick Accessories menu text that updates based on what you wear.
v0.0.2- Added Rename Outfit, Randomize Outfit, and Revert to Default options.
- Fixed bugs where loading a manual save, dying, or entering a vehicle would revert you to default clothes.
- Major CPU performance optimizations for background checks.

I haven't checked this out, but, if you're saving haircuts and beards, would you be open to make the haircuts and beards optional? I have a mod of myself, that I also use, that makes hair and beards grow, and overwriting hair and beards in the outfits, kinda defeats the purpose, is it something you would consider?

@thalilmythos Sure, i'd consider that, i will make a update for this mod in a few hours and ill add that as an option. (currently there is something similar called Quick Accessories that somewhat does this but i can add your suggestion)

@thalilmythos Your Suggestion has just been added to the new version (0.0.4) and you can enable it under settings in the mod menu, sit tight for the new update for this mod to release, as I'm also making some more changes to the mod, Before i release 0.0.4 with this change.

@Adurite Man, Appreciate that, I do wonder now, if I this works in missions, would be a smart thing for it not to I believe, returning to a normal outfit while doing the paleto bay heist with the armor would be nonsensical, is that the case?
пред 3 саати -
@thalilmythos Great question, By default, the mod has a setting turned on called 'Force Outfit In Missions', which locks your current custom outfit and prevents the game from changing it at all. So yes, if you leave that on, it will block the Paleto Bay armor!
HOWEVER, I included a toggle for this in the mod's Settings menu. If you are about to do a heist where you need the game to change your clothes (like Paleto Bay or the Scuba mission), you can just open the menu, turn off 'Force Outfit In Missions', and the mod will let the game handle your clothes normally until the mission is over! You have full control over it.

@Adurite Nice, now we're talking, I've been currently using an edited version of this:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/the-character-clothes-mod-net
I made it not save the haircuts like I was requesting and disabled it in missions
and also mixed with this:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/sp-outfit-saving
but if your mod delivers and doesn't change stuff in missions, I'm going to replace both with your work, which sounds like a dope thing to have so far.

@thalilmythos Thank you, hope you like it, I'm just waiting on the file to get approved and you can use the features you asked for and the quick issues i fixed with missions in the mod that i found, while playing the story to test out the mod.
