It's 2023 and it's apparently still impossible to disable camera auto centering.
I'm using v1.2.9 from the GitHub and the rest of the mod seems to work, but turning off "Third person vehicle auto centering" seems to do nothing at all. I've tried with both vehicle-specific settings as well as with custom presets disabled. Same with the setting for on-foot. Also the setting to disable camera shake when running doesn't seem to do anything, it still bobs up and down like crazy.
Sorry I think it actually was working, I just didn't realize the cars that were spawning were DLC. I turned on notifications and radar blips to confirm.
What does the "avoid traffic" driving style mean? That they try harder not to crash, or that they avoid stretches of road where there's other cars?
I found this to work with the "DLC/Add-On Vehicles Spawn on [sic] Traffic" mod. It's apparently just the spawning via console command that's no longer working.
Yeah my mistake I think it actually was working, but confirmed after I turned on the notifications and radar blips.
Is there a resource where all the car names are listed? I found one on a forum post but it seems outdated. I want to add other cars that may not be DLC, and also double check some of them, for example is "techinical3" a typo? Is it supposed to be "technical3"?
I see that people have been using this after July which I guess was the last update? Is there some trick to getting "Spawn MP Vehicles in SP" to work? Nothing happens when I type the name of a given vehicle. I have the mod "Replace Character Vehicles 0.5" working so I'm pretty sure the dinput8.dll I have is working correctly. I've tried with the asi loader from OpenIV and directly from ScriptHookV
