*GTA V Dubai Islands Mod Standard Version by GTA BELGIUM*
Grand Theft Auto: Dubai Islands brings some of the most recognizable buildings from the Middle East and beyond to the game Grand Theft Auto V! This mod contains multiple islands including a Palm Jumeirah replica, an airport and even the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit from Abu Dhabi!
This is the second version of this mod. There is a VIP version for 1$ including the Dubai Creek Tower, and Abraj Al Bait building from Meccah. This VIP version is available on Patreon, and will be linked to on the website https://gta-belgium.com/
CRASHES SHOULD NOW BE FIXED 99% WITH THE LATEST 2.0 CRASH FIX UPDATE
Changes in V2.1:
- Collision fix. Thanks to user TyFinesse on gta5-mods.com for help with the collision fix.
Players will no longer fall through the map!
Rockstar Games decided to mess with the collision system a while ago,
so lots of map mods didn't work properly anymore. That has now been fixed!
Changes in V2.0:
- Added more random props, and bridges between the islands.
- Dubai International Airport replica added.
- Minimap is now included, but will be only compatible with 4K Satellite View Map by Designerappz: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/satalite-view-map
- Some new buildings: London One Canada Square (not really Middle East but still good looking), a random large building.
- The 1$ VIP version will have an added Abraj Al Bait Meccah Royal Clock Tower (interior with Kaaba) and the planned Dubai Creek Tower (height 1300 meter).
- Deleted unnecessary collision files for better performance and reducing crashes.
- Reducing some unnessecarily large 4K textures and replaced them by 2K textures without ingame visible quality loss.
- Re-importing Bahrain World Trade Center without z-fighting faces, with reduced polygons for better performance and less irritating 'flashing textures'.
- Editing and improving shaders and textures on some buildings for less problems with strange colored glass glitches.
- Editing normal directions on some buildings for a visible better quality, without strange lines and shadow glitches.
- Added lights in Luzhniki Moscow World Cup 2018 stadium, which will light up at night.
- Added a Freddie Mercury Statue inspired on the one in Montreux, Switzerland. Located near Dubai Emirates Towers and Rose Tower.
- Some buildings now have LOD versions, which will reduce possible lag and the game will have less chance to suffer from random crashes.
Possible future changes in a next version:
- Adding more traffic paths and correcting existing traffic if possible.
- Adding more details, more mansions, more props...
- Making LOD versions on more buildings to reduce crashes for some users.
- More buidlings or statues, towers...
- Whatever comes up on my mind or on yours: you can always leave a (realistic) suggestion!

A random building, random houses, a mosque, 2 small bridges, 2 large bridges and 2 yachts.
I know Russia and China and of course the UK and Switzerland are not really Persian/Arabian,
and neither is Turkey in fact. But I think it's all a great addition to this mod, with an extra touch!
Burj Khalifa is converted from a GTA IV mod by 'Metalwarz'. Many many thanks to him for the GTA IV version!
I only converted that one to GTA V.

INSTALLATION:
Install the files with OpenIV (http://openiv.com/).
If you can't work with OpenIV, search for tutorials on youtube,
there are a lot of good tutorials.
- Extract everything from the .zip file
- In update/x64/dlcpacks create the folder 'dubai' and paste the dlc.rpf (located in this download: dubai folder)
- In update/update.rpf-common-data edit the file dlclist.xml:
Search for the last 'dlcpacks:\...\' and paste this new dlc code line after it:
dlcpacks:\dubai\
- In update/update.rpf-x64-levels-gta5-paths.rpf add the 2 files in the 'traffic paths' folder in this download.
'nodes393.ynd' and 'nodes395.ynd'.
- For the new minimap, download this mod by LorenVidican:

I am sorry if I could not personally answer you... But hey, I tried to fix the problems with crashes in this version for everyone experiencing problems!
Grand Theft Auto: Dubai Islands brings some of the most recognizable buildings from the Middle East and beyond to the game Grand Theft Auto V! This mod contains multiple islands including a Palm Jumeirah replica, an airport and even the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit from Abu Dhabi!
This is the second version of this mod. There is a VIP version for 1$ including the Dubai Creek Tower, and Abraj Al Bait building from Meccah. This VIP version is available on Patreon, and will be linked to on the website https://gta-belgium.com/
CRASHES SHOULD NOW BE FIXED 99% WITH THE LATEST 2.0 CRASH FIX UPDATE
Changes in V2.1:
- Collision fix. Thanks to user TyFinesse on gta5-mods.com for help with the collision fix.
Players will no longer fall through the map!
Rockstar Games decided to mess with the collision system a while ago,
so lots of map mods didn't work properly anymore. That has now been fixed!
Changes in V2.0:
- Added more random props, and bridges between the islands.
- Dubai International Airport replica added.
- Minimap is now included, but will be only compatible with 4K Satellite View Map by Designerappz: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/satalite-view-map
- Some new buildings: London One Canada Square (not really Middle East but still good looking), a random large building.
- The 1$ VIP version will have an added Abraj Al Bait Meccah Royal Clock Tower (interior with Kaaba) and the planned Dubai Creek Tower (height 1300 meter).
- Deleted unnecessary collision files for better performance and reducing crashes.
- Reducing some unnessecarily large 4K textures and replaced them by 2K textures without ingame visible quality loss.
- Re-importing Bahrain World Trade Center without z-fighting faces, with reduced polygons for better performance and less irritating 'flashing textures'.
- Editing and improving shaders and textures on some buildings for less problems with strange colored glass glitches.
- Editing normal directions on some buildings for a visible better quality, without strange lines and shadow glitches.
- Added lights in Luzhniki Moscow World Cup 2018 stadium, which will light up at night.
- Added a Freddie Mercury Statue inspired on the one in Montreux, Switzerland. Located near Dubai Emirates Towers and Rose Tower.
- Some buildings now have LOD versions, which will reduce possible lag and the game will have less chance to suffer from random crashes.
Possible future changes in a next version:
- Adding more traffic paths and correcting existing traffic if possible.
- Adding more details, more mansions, more props...
- Making LOD versions on more buildings to reduce crashes for some users.
- More buidlings or statues, towers...
- Whatever comes up on my mind or on yours: you can always leave a (realistic) suggestion!

INSTALLATION:
Install the files with OpenIV (http://openiv.com/).
If you can't work with OpenIV, search for tutorials on youtube,
there are a lot of good tutorials.
- Extract everything from the .zip file
- In update/x64/dlcpacks create the folder 'dubai' and paste the dlc.rpf (located in this download: dubai folder)
- In update/update.rpf-common-data edit the file dlclist.xml:
Search for the last 'dlcpacks:\...\' and paste this new dlc code line after it:
dlcpacks:\dubai\
- In update/update.rpf-x64-levels-gta5-paths.rpf add the 2 files in the 'traffic paths' folder in this download.
'nodes393.ynd' and 'nodes395.ynd'.
- For the new minimap, download this mod by LorenVidican:

How isn;t anybody talking about that this is the most incorrect GTA Map Mod i've ever seen, It is not Dubai, It is basically a mix of Buildings that are from Arabian Countries NOT JUST UAE, & Buildings which are in he UAE but not Dubai, It did have buildings which are atleast in Dubai but this Map is incorrect, Please make the correct version.
