@halreon Then it likely is gameconfig issue if you're installing car mods, I did a bit of research and azzman is likely correct in that most of these cases are due to the gameconfig not being updated.
@azzman_01 Im offering a fix that worked for me, i dunno why you're taking such offense over it
@halreon Then that seems like one of your mods has broken. Try replacing the update.rpf and update2.rpf with the base game ones again and install the mods one by one, check the game every time you add a mod to find the culprit
@azzman_01 Well it happened to me so
@halreon If you have update2.rpf in there, yes.
@halreon Replace the update.rpf in your mods folder with the one inside the "update" folder in the root GTAV folder.
You will have to reinstall some mods likely
@halreon @VLAD 15 Check if you've updated your update.rpf in the mods folder.
@jay static1 Remember to update the update.rpf in your mods folder, you will likely have to reinstall some mods. I'd recommend backing up this current update so you don't have to deal with that next time it comes around.
To do so, just copy the two .exes in the GTAV directory to a folder somewhere you know AND do the same with the update.rpf's (D:\Epic Games\GTAV\update - This is the EGS directory but for steam it should be more like D:\Steam\steamapps\common\GTAV\update) Once an update comes around you can just replace the update.rpf's and the .exes with the ones you copied into that folder and you should be able to keep playing the game
Oh wow that's surprising, alloc actually updated it
I believe putting .asi's anywhere other than the root folder will render them useless but it might work, I'm not 100% sure
