Don't be deterred by the flack, Great ideas come from the simplest of concepts- :) If you found it useful and were inspired to share, well, it's more than most people do... I say this to you because, it was through a simple concept that we created our mod, GTA V Re-sized so that I could enjoy some real gameplay on a very old laptop. NO one had come up with any ideas or real solutions to help- soooo, we created our own sollution..I applaude your efforts.. :) -Mn8r01
WOW! Close to 10k on the downloads of our Mod on this site alone! Very groovy to see. Thanks to everyone for all the feedback, videos of how to install GTA V Re-Sized as well b4 and after comparisons. We do this because we love the benefits we ourselves experience and feel sharing that ability to as many as possible is how It should be. We don't get "$$" for any of this. We share what we enjoy to whomever may enjoy as well. N8Gamez has been dilligent in being open sourced, transparent and assistive in trouble shooting to help in modifying your own game with better benefits... We appreciate the love and passion of you all.
@fireV - Also, check in the x64o. There are many textures in that area as well. Let us know if you have any other issues.
Game on! I've been blown away at the quicker weapon reloads and speed of gameplay on battery power. ;)

Certianly, there should also be a Restore To high Poly available too. Thank you for letting us know that the repository gets getting updated so we don't have to keep re-checking/ uploading files. :) Give them a whirl and let us know :)

i7-4510U @ 2Ghz,
8.0 GB Ram
nvidia GeForce GTX 850M Video Card. I'm getting amazing results and able to up my in game settings to high or very high with smoothness and speed, no jutters.
Here are the settings i'm now testing-with amazing results:
fxaa -on
msaa- x2
textures- very high
shaders -very high
shadows -high
reflection quality -high
reflection msaa- x2
water -very high
particles - high
grass very- high
soft shadow -soft
post effects- ultra
ambient occulsion- high
tessellation high
advanced graphics extended destance scaling 3/4 up
N8Gamez has been working like a madman cleaining code and putting together his Re-REsized package...My game is running better than it has ever b4 on battery power alone on my Acer i7 4510U. 8GB ram with Nvidia Card. I've bumped up all my settings to either high or highest to open up my game's performance and get the smoothest and fastest effects of this mod possible...There's so much that has been done and still needs to be done as we're only about 1/2 through with the texture resizing alone...We'd love to see your videos of b4/after as well. :) This may seem like a team of people doing it, but it's not..As always, we are dilligently staying up until the wee hours of the morning, optimizing and enhancing the details and subtle nuances of the Mod so that lovers of the game like YOU will enjoy amazing gameplay and a deeper emersion experience...
How do we do it? With sheer will, passion for Modding GTA, stout cups of coffee from time to time, and the occassional trip to the library (time and weather permitting) :P
These last few months,We, (N8Gamez & Mn8r01) have been somewhat occupied due to the time needed to build our new home on a 45ft Shrimping boat and had to dedicate what resources we have directly to that- one huge element as to why N8gamez, the Creator and Moderator of GTA V Re-Sized, had been away from the Modding sites...
Internet is a luxury at this time, so when we're able, we pack up, row to shore and walk to the library where we utilize open wifi to upload our files to share.
As we live on a boat, anchored in the Bay, we are not connected to utilites and depend on a combination of a Single 240 v Solar panel and a wind generator for our power needs. (Pretty groovy if you ask me) So, curretly, Not only does this Mod save over 18g of Memory on your computer and enhances the gameplay, but uses Clean power from the source to make it happen! :)
It gets interesting at times, to say the least, but we do what we do for the love of the game and in hopes of bringing pleasure to those we know will enjoy it!
With all that being said, when you put your passion forward, magic happens.
