I am having such a blast with this mod!!!
Quick questions, do you have to turn off the DLC for ANY_CAR = TRUE to work? Also I know that the 2000 is a Ruiner(?) What is the name of the initial car for 3000? (in DLC before transforming to the dominator)
@Augur89 OK thanks, Just for the record.. I can run the Ironman V script without issues and that mod has its own sound files as well. In any case at least I can run this. It's a great mod, Thanks!!
OK, more experimenting, I made a copy of the K2000Key.wav and renamed it to Initial.wav and then ran the game. The second the key sound went off (as in I heard it) the game crashed. So I cant help but think maybe thats the issue?
One thing I noticed is that the Initial.wav is 0:00:00 in length, is that supposed to be like that?
Also, it seems simply enabling SOUND_EFFECTS causes the crash, I tried removing the folder, then tried it with an empty folder, both times with it set to TRUE and game crashed on load.
For some reason the sound effects were causing the error. Setting:
SOUND_EFFECTS = FALSE
in the KSettings.ini file worked.
So I can use it now but without the sound effects.

The odd thing is the scanner sound works fine as its a separate line in the .ini file and its in the KSounds folder.

No this is the only mod that came with sound files. Yeah it is strange.
