Car mods, while risky, I have not seen anyone be banned strictly for the use of model swaps. I've been banned before, but thats because I was a wee cheeky modder ;)
What im assuming though is that I won't be able to use these car mods, but thats simply me being a scaredy cat. The issue with bans is the fact that rockstar detects the Scripthook being used INSTANTLY. The thing is, OpenIV doesnt use Scripthook, it only uses an asi loader. Which, while still risky, isnt nearly as risky as using the Scripthook.
I've seen many people who have used car mods before, I've used them online before too, so allow me to give you some advice if you choose to do it:
1. Only modify rpfs for cars and car mods. If you modify the handling or other features, you will not be able to join friends, as your data will not sync properly.
2. This causes desync - a lot of desync depending on the quality of the car mod. If the car mod is the same size, uses the same mods, etc, you shouldnt have much desync, but if you were like me, using them when they were still primitive, you will have a lot of desync and bugs, as people drive cars with full car mods etc. That being said, nothing was better than being able to drive my 69' Camaro around Los Santos.. Ahhhh the days.
3.Don't use scripthook. Alexander Blade put a call home function in it many moons ago, which gets you banned within 2 hours.
I think itll be okay.. but if any of you guys have 2 bans and use it, and dont get banned? Contact me :P
Anyone who makes a mod that makes multiplayer better than the failure that is GTA Online is a 5 star in my book, just wondering how good the co op mission functionality is? Do both characters see cutscenes or does the mission only really run for one person? A CO OP GTA V mod would be absolutely amazing for me and my friends if we could play the missions together. Keep doing what you're doing, its great!
What car would be best to replace this with? Comes with tuning parts too doesn't it? Great mod Aige, as always! just a damn shame you don't support replacement :P
Nice! That annoyed me way more than it should have :p. You seem to like making mods for old cop cars.. and I like you for that :P, but could you consider making a 1980s Chevy Impala cruiser? Although, I'm not sure if any other models exist that you could rip off of :x
