@F7YO Yeah as the 2025 enhanced edition, is only for PC, Xbox Series X/S & PS5
@pugg try disabling "addon script" and see if that fixes it.
@F7YO i hope so to. I even tried porting all of the following files from enhanced to legacy with the use of a "mods" folder because inside the metioned files below, they would be considered as modded files because they contain updated files.
*update
*x64
*common.rpf
*x64a.rpf
*x64b.rpf
*x64c.rpf
*x64d.rpf
*x64e.rpf
*x64f.rpf
*x64g.rpf
*x64h.rpf
*x64i.rpf
*x64j.rpf
*x64k.rpf
*x64l.rpf
*x64m.rpf
*x64n.rpf
*x64o.rpf
*x64p.rpf
*x64q.rpf
*x64r.rpf
*x64s.rpf
*x64t.rpf
*x64u.rpf
*x64v.rpf
*x64w.rpf
but no luck as get errors with trying to boot the enhanced game.
@pugg which mods do you use?
@F7YO when you say "Rpf files can be modded outside the installed folder." do you mean outside "mods" folder? if so, either way, OpenIV and/or CodeWalker will need updating along with ScriptHookV & ScriptHookVDotNet before we get to mod vehicles, weapons, sounds etc with the enhanced release.
@F7YO When the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V - Legacy released back in 2015, it took community devs a year or so to get modding support from the likes of OpenIV to be able to modify .rpf files.
@F7YO i mean, tools like OpenIV codewalker would have to be updated to support, "Grand Theft Auto V 'Enhanced" otherwise, how can we mod .rpf files?
@F7YO we all will be waiting for a huge while.
@pugg do you happen to have mods installed?
Good luck to those who are trying to mod "Grand Theft Auto V 'Enhanced'" as, there are no modding tools as of now and unsure whether there will be as, although i obtained it's gameconfig, simply modifing it lead to the game launcher saying "the game isnt up-to-date". So if the launcher always require up-to-date files then, modding "Grand Theft Auto V 'Enhanced'" will be impossible.
If this is the case, maybe someone will find a different workaround to get mods to load under "Grand Theft Auto V 'Enhanced'" if thats even possible. same approach can be said for loading mods into Grand Theft Auto IV using "Ultimate ASI Loader" by placing mods inside folder "update" but again thats for Grand Theft Auto IV not Grand Theft Auto V.
