Overview:
This mod creates shrapnel around player owned weapon explosions. This means any grenade you throw can still hurt you and others from a distance. You can even change the shrapnel bullet type in the config to make things really interesting!

Requirements:
Requirements For ScriptHookVDotNet V3.1.0 (Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2019 (x64))

Installation:
Copy "Shrapnel.dll" to your "GTA V\Scripts\" folder
Copy "Shrapnel.ini" to your "GTA V\Scripts\" folder (If updating from an older version, check the changelog to see if any changes have been made to the config file. If not, then you don't need to do this step.)
Changelog:
V1.2:
Added the firework launcher as a usable weapon. (Using firework as the bullet type and setting the shrapnel speed to something low like 5 causes a nice little show)
Fixed a bug causing certain bullet types not to show. (This for some reason is caused by a player not having or have had that particular weapon. So if you picked flare gun and didn't have one, then no flares would appear as shrapnel)
Fixed a bug accidentally added in the last update causing projectiles like rockets to move slowly and turn. (This is actually an option that you can change in the .ini now that's mentioned below)
Added "Shrapnel Speed (Mainly for projectiles):" to the .ini. Default value is -1.0 but basically a value between 0 - whatever GTA V's max speed for projectiles is. So setting this to 5 will cause that slow projectile issue where as 5000 will make them extremely fast.
V1.1:
Adjusted the random direction part of the shrapnel to make it a bit more consistent. (It is still COMPLETELY RANDOM)
Added "Minimum Amount Of Damage Caused By Shrapnel:" and "Maximum Amount Of Damage Caused By Shrapnel:" to the .ini. Before it was a set 45 but now it's set to randomly choose between 2 values that you set.

Just incase anyone is coming to report it, there's an issue with the rockets or projectiles not shooting out like in my video. I believe I know what the issue is and I'll fix it soon.
Do you plan to add an option to randomize the number of shrapnels between two values chosen in the ini file? Like between 1 to 30 shrapnels per explosion

I can. Pretty sure I thought of it at some point but forgot. Might be using LemonUI to make changes while in-game and maybe adding the option to pick the bullet type/shrapnel amount based on the weapon.

There's not really a value for that other than maybe changing weapon stats through in-game files but idk. But I can't really change that.

Nice ideas
An excellent mod that I have been looking for a long time. Could you make it so that there are more wounds from the explosions on the peds? I noticed that in the mod, wounds and blood on the peds from explosions appear extremely rarely. I would like the wounds and blood from explosions to appear as in Red dead redemption 2, where they always appear during explosions, for example, if dynamite or other explosive device is detonated next to an NPC.
P.S It would also be nice to add shrapnel from vehicle explosions

I'll have to do some testing and see if I can add the extra wounds but at the same time this mod is just to add shrapnel to explosives and not really add anything extra.
Vehicle shrapnel is something I wanted to add but not sure if I will partially because I need to find a way that doesn't affect performance too much since this mod can hit performance hard depending on settings.
