Background:
In 2008, an unnamed Triad Boss voiced by Jackson Loo had begun to take residence in Liberty City. It is unknown if his organization is affiliated with other big organizations like the Jaoming, Lee and Ming families - although an affiliation with the Jaoming Family is most likely as they are known to deal heroin with the The Angels of Death as well as the Ming Family which their business deals with renovation.
This Triad boss was about to open a new club, (inside the Dragon Heart Plaza) and Rocco Pelosi assured him that Tony Prince would see that the drinking license for the club was granted. However, when Tony and Luis Lopez meet with the Triad to supposedly grant him the license, it becomes apparent that there was some miscommunication between the two parties, which only serves to anger the Triad. He then enters into an argument with the pair which results in him pulling a firearm on Luis and promptly being knocked out. Tony and Luis are then forced to eliminated waves of the Triad's henchmen in order to escape from the building.

It was also the first time we see Luis use his military skills to disarm an enemy and take on a whole plaza full of Triad gangsters! The guns were amazing, the different ways the enemies were introduced from combat rolls and window dives as you tried to escape the ambush, was all extremely fun and really felt like you were trying to run for your life!
After the years since GTA IV's release, I have gotten the great privilege of porting these characters to GTA V! Only, I didn't do this model. This model was ported to GTA V by a very talented model author on this 5-mods page going by the name of Terry Kaffarov! A good friend of his reached out to me and made it known that Terry had planned to port all the GTA IV story characters, but he didn't get to ever complete this goal. Whether it be due to time, other goals in mind, or life in general.
I plan to pick up where Terry left off and complete his goal as I have been converting GTA IV models of my own! I was sent this model in particular as I had a few people asking me for him, and Terry's friend SkUlLiX185 on discord has given me permission on Terry's behalf to upload this model along with one other! I don't take credit in the port, but I did make him a regular addon ped opposed to the streamed version that was sent to me. My option tends to be easier with addon ped installation so I decided to go with it instead for this upload.

add the 4 files "ig_triad_boss" to the addon peds pack.
follow this route: Grand Theft Auto V \ mods \ update \ x64 \ dlcpacks \ addonpeds \ dlc.rpf \ peds.rpf \
or you can also install it as a replace by renaming the ped to what you want!
Ex: changing the name "ig_triad_boss" to "ig_barry" and replacing the model that way.

What is included in this mod:
The Triad boss has all his textures and outfit variations from GTA IV TBOGT dlc! I even added some extra textures that fit his clothes!!
His model has facial animations that work very well with GTA V! Terry did an amazing job on this part of the model as it works great for cutscenes!
I upscaled the textures to look more visually appealing in GTA V!
His model uses the mp freemode skeleton and thus can work with cutscenes and animations that play better for those types of models!

How to Use:
In order to spawn or play as the Triad boss model in game, enter the model's name into "spawn ped by model name" via simple trainer.
(If you do not have this trainer, then just type the name in the designated area of your current trainer):
ig_triad_boss
If you use simple trainer you can add the model name to the ini file of trainer v and you then won't have to input the name every time in game!
Just list it under the addonpeds section!
If you decide to use MapBuilder/map editor for creating scenes with him, then be sure to add the name to the top of the "ped list" in order to spawn him for your creations!
Just be sure to credit Terry Kaffarov if you make videos with him and don't forget to add the video to this mod page for people to watch!
