Simple modification to improve rain effect.
(This mod does not affect performance)

installation:
-Start up OpenIV
-Go to Edit Mode
-Go to common.rpf/data/levels/gta5/weather
-Replace each "rainstorm_render_drop.xml" & rainstorm_render_ground.xml fileS with the same name
-enjoy ;)

1.0 (added optional file with smaller drops)
1.1 (added insane rain for storm weather)
1.2 (increased the size of the raindrops hitting the ground)
Don't redistribute without my permission

I have a question I already have real rain mod and idk how to uninstall it but if I install this will it work?
So this mod could be called...wait for it...HEAVY RAIN!!!??
I'll show myself out. But before I do. I just want to say that I love this mod. WAY more immersive than the little sprinkle-fest that the game considers to be rain.
@lesterthades did you copied the original file? Did you use the mods folder? if not
you need to re-install gta to work
