@Bigsossa perfect, glad it loaded now. That was definitely the SHVDN3 version/path issue. If anything else acts weird, drop the new ScriptHookVDotNet.log and I’ll check it.

@chris22622 okay thanks for the reply, I think Your mod would benefit a great deal from a ped exclusion list, The player could add a peds model name like “ig_gracie” for example, to the list and that would disable OTB’s tasking for that ped. My mod allows me to set addon peds as bodyguards so if you can add an exclusion list that disables OTB’s tasking for the named ped, it could make both of our mods coexist. I will still be trying to find a way to make my mods tasking more strict in the mean time either way.

I'm using GTA V Enhanced. I installed the latest public ScriptHookVDotNet (3.7.0.167). My ScriptHookVDotNet.log says:

Could not load file or assembly 'ScriptHookVDotNet3, Version=3.9.0.0'

The latest public SHVDN DLL is version 3.7.0.167. Can you provide the required SHVDN 3.9.0 runtime or point me to where it can be downloaded?

I have been reading the previous comments to fix the the SHVDN3 3.9.0 issue but I am running into conflicting advice. You mentioned downloading the latest nightly release (at this time is 3.7.0.167). When I download and extract it, the version of SHVDN3.DLL is 3.7.0.167, not 3.9.0 like the script is looking for.

You mentioned Cosire's github, but their latest version is 3.6

Please advise on where to find the proper 3.9.0 as the latest nightly is not providing it, nor the one prior.

OFFICIAL CORRECTION, latest v3.2.716:

Please ignore my older comments that said OnTheBlock needed ScriptHookVDotNet3 3.9.0. That was packaging drift from my local setup. The current public package is rebuilt against the official ScriptHookVDotNet v3.7.0-nightly.167, specifically ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll version 3.7.0.167. You do NOT need to hunt for a 3.9.0 runtime.

Install fix:
1. Re-download the latest OnTheBlock free v3.2.716 from this page.
2. Copy everything from the zip into your GTA scripts folder and overwrite the old files.
3. Make sure your main GTA folder has the official SHVDN nightly files, including ScriptHookVDotNet.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll, and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll from v3.7.0-nightly.167.
4. Fully close GTA to desktop and restart. Do not just reload scripts.

If ScriptHookVDotNet.log still says OnTheBlock.dll or iFruitAddon2_CrashFix.dll wants ScriptHookVDotNet3 Version=3.9.0.0, you still have a stale OnTheBlock package or old helper DLL somewhere. Replace with the full v3.2.716 zip.

For support, paste ScriptHookVDotNet.log from your GTA root and scripts/OnTheBlock/OnTheBlockDebug.log, with any API keys removed.

If your log still says OnTheBlock wants ScriptHookVDotNet3 Version=3.9.0.0, you still have an older OnTheBlock DLL or old iFruitAddon2_CrashFix helper somewhere. Re-download v3.2.716, overwrite every included file in scripts, and fully restart GTA.

@RedAngel77 yes, the current public build is meant to work on Legacy too. Use the ScriptHookV that matches your GTA edition and the official SHVDN nightly.

@kevin109 the ped exclusion list idea is the right fix for compatibility. I am going to treat that as a real improvement: an INI/model-name exclusion list so OTB leaves specific peds alone, especially bodyguard/addon/special service peds. Until then, the safest setup is to avoid letting both mods control the same spawned/bodyguard ped.

@NotRealBob live talking to NPCs is staying supporter-only. The free build gets the world sim, police/gangs/social feed/stash/dealing/stability fixes, but the live NPC conversation layer is the paid supporter feature.

hi sir When I buy the product from Hector, it disappears when I try to give it to my dealer.

@Bigsossa good catch and thanks for the report - found it. What you buy from Hector fills your pockets first, and anything over the pocket cap goes into the gym bag on your back. The give-to-dealer menu was only reading your pockets, so the rest looked like it vanished. Fixed in the newest version - handing product to your dealer now pulls from both your pockets and your gym bag, and shows exactly what was handed over. Update, full overwrite, full restart and it'll run clean 🙏

@Xzrvde controller support is already in the current v3.2.743 build: D-pad Left opens the OnTheBlock phone, D-pad / left stick moves through lists, A selects, B backs out, and D-pad Right is the talk shortcut where supported. Do a full overwrite of the scripts folder and a full GTA restart so no old files keep the old controls.

@Unknown_User000a if a crime-scene cordon/body cleanup spawns out of place on v3.2.743, send a screenshot/map spot plus scripts/OnTheBlock/OnTheBlockDebug.log in Discord so I can see the exact zone/scene. Current build has the latest placement/cleanup pass, so I do not want to guess from just the comment.

@Bigsossa for police facial ID, use the disguise/mask system: press Shift+M. Wearing a mask during the crime blocks a facial ID, and changing clothes/vehicle lowers the suspect-profile match. Vehicle BOLOs are separate: for hit-and-run, change both paint and plate; other warrants need to be paid/cleared.

@chris22622 you guys should add a feature including draging bodies and putting them in your car adn taking them to the victims gangs crib, to spark a gang war. i thought this was a good idea. would you guys add it or no

@SEANAKATOXIC make sure windows isn't blocking it from running, Disable smart app control in the windows security settings and see if that helps

I am having an issue with the wanted level, the police don't chase and stars clear in seconds. I can pop an officer and still no stars
